Thursday seems to be a laid back day here. We reached Office only to find the electricity gone with no one really caring to switch on the Generator. (Well nothing so unusual for an Indian). However, it can get really hot and sweaty without Fans of AC here. We reviewed our Statement of Work with the Bureau's Special Advisor. Its interesting to find the Television on in most of the Offices here. Seems it was a live telecast of national assembly on TV, but I must it can be distracting at times.
Greg and myself had our lunch at the same Fast Food Restaurant. As it happens a lot of times, I order a rice hoping to be a vegetarian only to find later that it had fish in it. Thus, I had to again ask for a simple fried rice.
Back at Office, we decided on the work for coming week and came back to Hotel at 4. Forgot to mention earlier, the normal Office hour at Calabar seems to be 8AM to 4PM.
I bought a pair of swimming goggles for 3500 Naira. Although the brand says Speedo, I have my doubts on it. Practiced my swimming lessons and seems am getting a hang of it.
We were supposed to go to Obudu Cattle Ranch for the weekend on Friday morning. However it was rescheduled for next week. And hopefully, we will be going to Tinapa Business Resort during the weekend.
